The partnership between Akanksha Samiti and UPSDM aims at bringing the skilling and employment generation schemes of the government to the right beneficiaries. Akanksha’s intervention is expected to be very fruitful in identification, mobilization, counselling and enrolments of youth for the various skill development programs being conducted in the state, which would enhance their employability and placement prospects.

The UPSDM Director Mr. Andra Vamsi and his team have been actively engaging with Akanksha members in every district, organising meetings of stakeholders with all the skilling partners in the districts.

Mrs. Preeti Ahuja and Mrs. Priyanka Priyadarshi from the Akanksha team visited the Raymonds Tailoring Centre in Lucknow that uses state of the art machines and methodology to impart training and also provides placement to the qualifying candidates.

Dr. Priyanka Yadav an active Akanksha member at Gorakhpur has taken great initiatives in strategic tie-up with AIIMS Gorakhpur for training and placement of youth and has organized rallies and events with UPSDM to promote awareness among youth.
